You know that feeling when you've learnt something from a movie and it feels like a brand new you is born? Yup.

I need a time out. A release. I am not stressed out or anything.. I just wish to have a momentary pause from life.. you know, like time freezes and youre the only one going. But too bad, time is never-ending and ever-going. I am aging. I'll die. What the hell am I typing about? Yes I'll die in blabla years or seconds or whatever. Everyone dies.

Yes. Death is the only way out for me. Hmm.. 3 more days to my Malay 'O' Level Paper. woohoo. Woohoo indeed. I HAVE NOT BEEN STUDYING. WOOHOO. I am going to be a fucking failure. Thats right. 11 years and not passing the shitty subject. Oh wait, make that hmm 7 years. All was going great until I was in primary 4. I can't remember what exactly happened, my Malay language sucked ever since. Sigh.

Anyways, I had a fun jamming session with Flint and co. the other day which was a Tuesday. Yeh, went back home from school and the next thing I know I was on my way to Yishun. Thank god the bus rides weren't that intoxicating and weren't that long. Only took 40 minutes from Bedok to Yishun. Wahoo. Anyways.. (as my memory can err uphold?) Ok. We were suppose to meet at A&Z which was a coffee shop nearby to the studio but Addy got onto the wrong bus w/ Reeda and Vin was late.. so upon arriving, I called Flint who was already in the studio. Tuned up and all and the others started to arrive. Hahaha before that there were these guys who wanted to jam one song for a while .. for free but turns out like one mini gig inside the jamming room before Adi (the Studio guy) told them to scram. Lol.

Ah oh yes, Roseline was still having her exams so she wasn't available and Reeda had to stand in for her.

Okay so the guys have arrived and we were on our way. Covering My Immortal, Bring Me To Life, Going Under, Haunted, Tourniquet, My Imaginary and Taking Over Me. Some songs weren't that quite satisfying so we played again and again until everything was perfect. Even tried our shot at Maroon 5's This Love. Kekke. During some break, Me, Addy and Vin tried Overture 1928 by Dream Theater. =P Then remember playing Taking Over Me again. Then also tried Master of Puppets. Reeda then told us to switch instruments .. so it was me playing Bass... Addy playing guitar and Vin playing drums.. and Addy wanted to play I am a Viking. My fingers were hurting mannnn. lol. We topped the jam session off with Hallowed Be Thy Name by Iron Maiden.

Still waiting for the recordings. Where are you Flint. Lol.

Okay, I am off studying.

Great, I am down with Diarrhea. I think that this is the first time in 2004 that I am down with some stupid sickness. Heh. I already went to the loo like 4 times in 2 hours. God damnit. And guess whats the cause of this? Sambal Tuna. Sabri bought Chilli Tunas for us, which came in a can form ar. Then upon arriving at the dome* I immediately snatched the bag away and started eating it. It looked pretty disgusting but being the predatory fuck I was, I ate without thought. Then we played soccer. Hahaha. Then I went home and my mom bought me STEAK! I ate it. I don't think that it wa the steak.

I was awoken at 5:30. My stomache was burning. The shit doesn't stop. Literally.

Now Listening: Tomorrow's Eve - Conflict

Good Progressive Rock band!

Hello hello. Today was an Ok day. I skipped school. hahahaha. Listened to a couple of Iron Maiden songs. Printed loads of Iron Maiden and Metallica bass tabs for Sabri to practice. Then siap-ed and all and packed my wah wah and off I went, to meet up with Addy. It was quite a short 45 minute bus ride. Dunno, felt like a short time lah. Heh. Arrived at Compass Point. Called Addy, waited and he gave me a free Mocha Frap. Mmmmm. Then off to Yishun. We were in a hurry. Okay, we arrived at Yishun Mrt Station then went to towards this junction.. then our bus was already on its way. Apa lagi.. kita lari lah. My pants were slipping. (You do know I always wear loose pants. Hurhur.) Then I had to hold onto my pants. Wahlau at first I overtook Addy then he overtook me. Both of us were laughing and all. Wahahha. The kind bus driver was slowing down for us. We managed to board the bus and was greeted. Wow. That was the first time I've ever been greeted by a bus driver. Nice guy.

We were like gasping for air. After a few stops, we've arrived at Seng Chai. Walk walk. Met Flint and our new bassist, Vin, who I got to know was Jana Cova's lead guitarist in the studio. Rented some guitar FX (gadgets :s). A metalzone, a super phaser and a super chorus (which I do not know what its for) lol. Brought my wah wah along.

Set up done. Vin was applying his guitar techniques on the bass, sweep, shred. Hehe. I cant play bass. :( Then sound levels were perfect and off we went.

Started off by playing Bring me to Life. It was an ok song. Vin had some problems which were later A-OK. Then Going Under. Vin had some problems. Then we skipped to Tourniquet. I HAD PROBLEMS. Lol. Forgot how the song goes like. Needs some touchup. Then Imaginary. I am okay. We had our little band version/modification thingy at the song, Flint with a solo and me with a solo. Hmm.. have to work for it. Then we played Taking Over Me. I am okay with it. Vin was too. Then played Haunted. Ni lagi aku lupa. Hahaha. Stopped at the solo.

Overall, we need some little touchups here and there. It was a good jam session overall. Then we're off. Anyways, Roseline wasn't present. Was having her examinations. That was why me, Addy and Vin had our screw ups. Something was missing definitely.

Okay, then, Me, Addy and Vin were off to Compass Point. Flint had to go jamming with his other band. Boarded this packed bus. Alighted, and then Vin started talking about MILF. Then soon, porn-talk started out of nowhere. Went up to Starbucks and met Reeda. Had Ice Tea. Hurhur. Then feedbacks and all. Vin was going crazy over In Flames and Kataklysm. Flint and Reeda had to go. That leaves me with Vin. Hahaha. He was a crazy guy man. Kinda reminds me of Ifran. Walked around Compass Point. Talking crap. Then went home.

AH KAO. The bus ride was horrendous. I was intoxicated by the fumes. Can die sial. Luckily the slide slide window thingy.. dont know what its called can be opened.. if not, I'll be dead sial. Not only that! I had to sit close to this horde of small cockroaches. WTF. Filthy bus. After an hour of enduring these craps that may leave me dead by asphyrixation if I had continued staying on, I ALIGHTED. What a relief. I was dragging myself towards my home.

Ah finally. HOME.

For once, my school days arent that boring. Hahaha. Anyways, I got injured today. Played soccer then this boy accidentally kicked the ball hard, which then hit me right in the face. My mouth was bleeding then and all but I carried on playing. Hurhurhur. Fun match ah. We lost. Its okay. Then got cross country training. Had to run around the Bedok Reservoir Rd estates. Yup but I walked for 7/8 of the time. lol.

Nothing much has happened these few days. Actually quite a lot ah. Me and Natural Selection has finally came up with a confirmed song for T-Day. Its quite okay accept for some incomplete parts. I am currently working on the solo.

My second band, yet to be named hurhur, will be jamming on Thursday with around 6 new cover songs to jam? All from Evanescence ah.

I've bought a Wah Wah Pedal at 50 bucks. Wah cool. Had some difficulties controlling it at first but gradually I am get more acquainted to it ahhhh.

Okay, actually I am in a very emotional mood right now. Please dun ask.

Went out to meeet up with the Natural Selection guys at Yasalam @ Bedok. Raszman was supposed to be buying some sports stuff tapi tak jadi. So we ended up playing Cs. Wah had a fun time siak. 1 hour of pure madness.

Met up with my friend's sis who was a consultant. Then he helped me lah with my problems. You know I have a lot of personal problems. He motivated me man. Now I've started studying.. well a bit.. but hey its a good start.

After which, Took an 854 from Kembangan to Yishun. 1 hour ride. The Air-Con was directly above me. I went numb man. After that I met Flint at Northpoint's Swensens. They wanna try out another guitarist ah. So yeh. Went back to Yishun Interchange and met up with Rose, our vox, who cabut-ed tuition. Flint cabut-ed work. Me? From nowhere. Haha. Then met Bob the bassist. Not Yadi. Then Addy, the drummer and Reeda, Flint's vox for another band of his. Akram, the guitarist met us.

Was okay ah the jamming. I sat for most of the session. Played a screwy Tourniquet cum Imaginary but did a perfec Going Under. Hehe. Akram came quite unprepared. After the jam session, sat at a kedaikopi and I had chicken rice. Flint had to go to some dinner and asked Reeda and Addy along. Me and the rest went home. I took an MRT with Akram. Talked about Sonata Arctica and stuff. Then got home.

Well anyway, I had a fun time yesterday. Woohoo. Went jamming with Addy, my second band's drummer and also with Adflin, a very very good keyboardist, Bob who played bass and Roseline.. voice power ahhh. Macam Amy Lee. Well, basically we spent 2 hours perfecting 3 Evanescence songs. Well, seemed like a waste of time right? But I had fun. Really know where I gauge ah. I really suck. I need practice.. lots of practice. Currently we are planning on playing songs by Evanescence, concurrently, the guys are tangkaping stuff from Dream Theater. Nice guys da. They really know about music man.

I came back home at around 11. We were jamming at Yishun. COol jamming studios. Everything is well maintained.

You know, I need to be more mature in music. I heard this punk rock band play some punk white-stripe-ish and I said.. Lagu Merepek. Help me.

Well anyway, I took an 854, an hour journey to Bedok/Ubi.

Sheeesh. I had fun laaaa.

Just got a nice refreshing bath after a long day. My day started off pretty normal. Went to school then blabla. I got 10/12 for my chem Moles test. Woohoo and a pathetic 13/25 for my Phy magnestism test. Geog was gay. CME I wrote about my passion in music and my teacher seemed to be interested(?).

Then got home. Went out with a friend of mine and here I am. Got to meet my dad. I felt sad leaving him. Its like I don't usually get to see him whot. Blanja-ed me Turkey Ham. Hah.

Now Listening: Dream Theater - Endless Sacrifice

Well, twas a swell day. Went to ECP to celebrate my friend punya adik punya bday. I was so blur man. Rahman and Sabri were there. Raszman wanted to go but had to go to KL because of some urgent matters. Sulaiman had other plans. Was quite boring when I first got there but eventually, made some good friends ah. Heh. They all went cycling. I sat on the beach looking out to the sea. Lots of people man. Well, its May Day whottt. Then one idiot's kite got stuck hahaha.

Left at around 6:30. Took a couple of pics. Then went off to Bedok Interchange. Had a long talk about music and our band. Hahaha. Just got to know, Sabri has been playing bass for 6 years. =o He thought I had been playing guitar for 10 years(?) ¬¬. Then there was the great comparison between us and Ajomas. Pretty one-sided I must say. (of course) Hahaha. We sure do have egos. Big egos. Egos are essential though. But VERY BIG EGOS, nono. I am still the sucky guitarist that I am.

Well, went to get my 1/2 to 1/4 socket for some recording shit when I get back home. Costed me 4 bucks?! Rip off. Pft. Then went to Yassalam with Sabri and Rahman. Bought 2 ice milos. Very thirsty. Sabri had Honey Dew Chicken noodles. He gave me around 6 dollars+? Wahh hoo.

Then went home. I re-recorded my "Reunited Once Again", now with drum tracks. If you want the mp3, just inquire.
