Now Listening: Atheist - Brains

Ok I think its time for me to update! I think I shall follow Syed's format of posting once a week but nah.. haahaha. I'll try to update alright?

That is..

1) If I am not lazy.
2) If I remember.
3) If I in the mood to do so.

So yes. To start things off, I I shall begin this entry with a quote. "The past week was fine/went well/was swell." - Syed. But yeah. It was boring.

Went to the Infestation of Evil Fezt. Disappointing turn out but it was a kick ass gig filled with fucking good bands which made the gig fucking underrated. What the hell happened? Man I wonder how the bands felt performing in front of 40 people instead of the influx of 'new kids' in recent gigs, save this one and the Tribute to Loudness gig, such as Xtreme Metal and all of Roy's gigs with 200-400 blood thirsty, cross armed, headbanging, grim and/or fashion whorified metalheads. But hey they delivered a good show despite the dumb turnout, who were mostly made up of the veterans in the scene. Saw some old faces.

And whats up with gigs being organised @ Planet Paradigm only? Man. We need more gig venues! Substation's down, Zombie Rock Bar has been turned into Zombie Cock Bar. Thomson CC's a bitch. etc. CC gigs are rare nowadays. Total contrast from the old days. Gone are the days of $5 metal gigs. lol. Oh yeah and now theres like 4 good gigs with great lineups that I wanna attend in this month alone. If metal gigs were to go at this rate with 1-2 gigs booked per week, all the organisers may run at a lost.. well that is.. if they care about money. But surely you'd want profit right? After all that hardwork. Plus, theres gonna be competition and all. This means, lesser opportunities for new bands. Cos they would want the best bands/lineup to attract the crowd and all. "Hello, I like money" and sellout. But hey if you don't care about profit.. good for you! and thanks for keeping the scene alive at least (which is DEAD).

Anyway, there was an outing a few days before the gig. It was fun. We had sort of an espionage going on too on that day lol. Mission Successful. After that we went slacking at The Esplanade. Imran went crazy. PLEASE TAKE ONE! Hahaha.

The rest of the days were "Sit at home and do what you always do". You know, the usual stuff.

Oh yes! And a few weeks ago, Imran, Ifran, Hyder, Fara, Aisha and me went to watch Spongebob Squarepants the movie. I think that movie made me dumber. Lol. It was crap but funny. Totally. You should watch it. After that, went slacking at Starbucks at Tampines. Had some kickass conversations accompanied by hmmmmmmmm... mocha fraps and the like. Mmmmm.. Cocoa. Sat there for like 3 hours. :o Hahah yeah. Got to take some pictures using Fa's camera. (Visuals)

Aight anddddddd.. went out to chill with Ifran and all again. Crap talking to the max. Had fun. Killed a lot of time. Brightened up my day.. A LOT. Thanks guys. Got in contact with Yesmin again heh. Saw her err online.

I shall update the links too. New photos coming right up. (IOEF Gig)

Thats all for this entry.
